We chose this yarn mix of baby alpaca and wool with a percentage of polyamide to take advantage of all three fibres and create a durable product that will last for more than one season.
Baby alpaca wool: The fine, soft and yet tear-resistant alpaca wool is one of the highest quality animal fibres in the world. It contains microscopic air pockets that make the yarn very light and have excellent heat regulation. The fibres are naturally rochest, dirt-repellent and easy to care for. Alpaca wool remains odorless due to its natural composition. Simply airing it out is enough, but the wool can also be easily cleaned on a wool cycle.
New wool: heat-insulating, air-permeable and absorbent. Sheeps wool can absorb up to 30% moisture and release it again quickly. It is easy to clean, dimensionally stable and a naturally renewable raw material.
Polyamide: Mixed yarns are more durable, lighter and easier to wash than pure natural fibres. This supports the durability of the products and thus reduces the production footprint with every time you wear it.
Material composition: 48% Baby Alpaca, 21% Wool, 28% Polyamide, 3% Elastane
We recommend hand wash cold. If you decide to machine wash, make sure to use the cold wool cycle and dont spin dry. Further care instructions can be found on the care label inside the garment.
